Separate poses and expressions into individual files while keeping their edges intact.

Practical advice

Story scenes

Split each panel, then name and arrange the results in reading order.

Practical advice

Coloring sheets

Check that fine outlines do not cross a cut line. Leave enough space around each illustration.

Practical advice

Preparing book pages

After splitting, organize scenes and check their pixel dimensions before assembling the book.

Scope and limitations

Know what this tool does and does not do

1The tool follows the grid; it does not automatically detect individual subjects.

2A poorly aligned sheet may need margin or offset adjustments.

3Splitting does not upscale or restore lost image detail.

4Each piece is a new PNG. Edge trim changes the source area before the grid is calculated.

Before you finish

Open the downloaded result and check it

Keep your originals until the new files meet your needs.

  • Cut lines: Align the dashed guides with the intended boundaries
  • Offsets and margins: Adjust the grid when artwork is not perfectly aligned
  • Output: Check each separated image before using it
Help and troubleshooting

Frequently asked questions

Why was part of a drawing cut off?

Move the cut lines or adjust the grid and margins to fit the artwork.

Can I split a 3 × 3 character sheet?

Yes. Set three rows and three columns, align the guides, and inspect the nine results.

Why can the last row look different in size?

Pixel dimensions do not always divide evenly; Lalabb assigns any remainder pixels without losing image area.
