How image order and PDF pages work
The tool uses the file-selection order. Select the images in the final reading order because this version does not provide a separate drag-to-reorder step after selection.
Each image becomes one PDF page. The page follows the image pixel dimensions; the tool does not add margins, bleed, captions, OCR, or a chosen paper-size layout.
The result is a new PDF download. The original images are not edited or replaced.
Limitations
- Only JPG/JPEG and PNG are accepted by the current interface.
- Very large images or large batches can exceed the memory available to the browser or device.
- This tool assembles images; it does not guarantee a print-ready trim size, color profile, bleed, or final print quality.
Frequently asked questions
Can I combine JPG and PNG files in the same PDF?
Yes. The current tool accepts a mixed selection of JPG/JPEG and PNG images and places each image on its own PDF page.
How do I control the page order?
Select the files in the order you want. The current version preserves selection order and does not include a second rearrangement screen.
Does Lalabb upload my images to convert them?
No Lalabb conversion-server upload is used for this tool. The selected images are read and assembled by code running in your browser.
Will every image fit a standard letter or A4 page?
Not automatically. PDF pages follow the source image dimensions, so use a separate layout workflow when you need a specific paper size, margin, or bleed.
Does the tool compress the images?
Compression is not the purpose of this tool. It embeds the supported image data in a new PDF; output size depends on the sources and PDF structure.
Can it turn HEIC, SVG, or WebP files into a PDF?
Those formats are not accepted by the current Images to PDF interface. Convert them to JPG or PNG first.
Does it add OCR or searchable text?
No. The PDF contains image pages and the tool does not perform OCR or add searchable text.
What should I check before printing the PDF?
Check page order, orientation, apparent sharpness, intended trim size, margins, and any printer or publisher requirements before using the file for production.
